Finance/Defi
The Finance/DeFi track focuses on decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and solutions built on the Solana blockchain. Participants should design and develop financial products, protocols, and platforms that enable users to access, manage, and leverage financial services in a decentralized and permissionless manner. Projects in this category explore innovative DeFi concepts within the Bonk Ecosystem such as lending, borrowing, staking, yield farming, and asset management, contributing to the evolution of decentralized finance and the broader Bonk and Solana financial ecosystem.
Artificial intelligence
The AI track explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology, aiming to develop AI-powered applications and solutions on the Solana blockchain. Participants leverage machine learning, deep learning, and Bonk’s unique position in the ecosystem to create innovative projects that enhance automation, decision-making, and data analysis in various domains. Solana Continuation Track:
The Solana Continuation track provides a platform for projects that have previously participated in the Solana Renaissance Hackathon hosted by Colosseum to further develop and expand their products. Participants are invited to refine and enhance their existing projects, incorporating feedback, iterating on features, and scaling their solutions to meet the needs of users and stakeholders. This track offers opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth, driving continued momentum and progress within blockchain ecosystems while integrating Bonk to enhance project scalability and sustainability.
General Rules & guidelines
submissions must be made through Align:
- Submissions must include complete information as specified.
- Titles and descriptions must be clear and concise.
- Projects must demonstrate scalability and utilization of Solana's unique features. Also, must include Bonk… since its… ya know… the Bonkathon
- Winners will be selected based on judges' evaluations.
What the judges will be looking for:
- Clarity, communication, and innovation of the project.
- Utilization of the Bonk Ecosystem.
- Market potential, impact, and scalability.
- Demonstrated user adoption strategy.
- Completeness and quality of submission materials.

- Create your profile on Align.
- Head to the Bonk Community Fund
- On the "Hackathon" tab, register your team.
A week before the Hackathon concludes, June 3rd, the submission portal will open. Submit your project with all require information

The Bonkathon is an exclusive Bonk focused hackathon. This event is hosted by Radiants on Align by Phase Labs, dedicated to accelerating real web3 adoption on Solana.
Bonkathon aims to leverage the opportune public facing position Bonk is in to drive development of consumer applications for web3 applications and drive Solana innovation to new heights.
The hackathon will start in on April 29th and last for 6 weeks until June 10th.
